Block Dates Add-On

This add-on allows you to block out dates when adding shifts and/or time off won't be possible.

If there is a shift or a time off on a blocked date, it will produce a "Date blocked" conflict. By default employees won't be able to submit shifts or time off on these dates unless they have the "Create Own Shifts With Conflicts" permission set to on in the respective calendar. Administrators and managers can still create shifts on these dates if needed.

Installation

Download the latest version.
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin.
Choose the file you downloaded in step #1, click Install Now, then click Activate Plugin.

After Installation

This add-on will add a new menu item in the WordPress admin area labelled ShiftController Block Dates for all WordPress users who can manage options.
